Solidarity Drive for Flood Victims in Tucumán

The Official Representation of the Province of Tucumán in Buenos Aires called on the community to participate in a solidarity drive to help families affected by recent floods in the province. According to information provided to the Argentine News Agency from the provincial headquarters, following a survey conducted by official bodies and the initial assistance provided by the Government of Tucumán along with the Tucumán community, the victims already have clothing, footwear, food, water, medicines, and cleaning supplies. In this new phase, the aid is aimed at rebuilding daily life in homes affected by the storm, so donations of household items are requested. Among the items being accepted are tableware, pots and pans, one and two-person bedding, quilts, blankets, sheets, appliances, towels, as well as tables, chairs, beds, stoves, refrigerators, toys, and school supplies. Donations can be brought to the House of the Province of Tucumán in Buenos Aires, located at Suipacha 140, from this Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. As part of this solidarity initiative, a cultural performance will be held in the same space on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., alongside Tucumán designer Juana Montoya, with the aim of integrating art, identity, and solidarity in support of the affected families. The proposal seeks to channel the help of the community in Buenos Aires to support the reconstruction of Tucumán homes affected by the floods.
